ServoStep: integrated smart motor

The ServoStep™ is a complete line of integrated motion control products based on step motor technology from the recognized pioneer and leader of integrated motion control, Animatics Corporation. This new chapter in SmartMotor Technology was designed with one purpose in mind, to deliver to the marketplace the most cost-effective SmartMotor possible without sacrificing features or benefits.

Featuring a high torque, 50-pole, step motor, motion controller, drive-amplifier and encoder in one integrated system, the ServoStep is a true, “Black-Box” solution.

The first release is a NEMA 34 frame size ServoStep. Delivering an impressive continuous torque capability of 650 oz-in and a nominal speed of 2,200 RPM, the ServoStep will become the workhorse in motion control.
