Danaher Controls maintains two separate engineering teams, an electro-optical group for design of encoders and related products, and a digital electronics group that is responsible for counters, timers, motion controls, and similar devices.

- EC801 -- Electrical protection of input/output interface and immunity to electrical interference
- IEC529, NEMA ICS250-1991 -- Environmental rating of enclosure and mounting
- UL, CSA, CE, -- Compliance with, and submission to, international electrical safety authorities
