Closed Loop Stepping Motor
Ezi-SERVO is an innovative closed loop stepping motor and controller that utilizes a high-resolution motor mounted encoder to constantly monitor the motor shaft position. The encoder feedback feature allows the Ezi-SERVO to update the current motor shaft position information every 25 micro seconds. This allows the Ezi-SERVO drive to compensate for the loss of position, ensuring accurate positioning. For example, due to a sudden load change, a conventional stepper motor and drive could lose a step creating a positioning error and a great deal of cost to the end user!

Ezi-Step
Step Motors with Integrated Drive
Ezi-Step is a micro stepping system that incoprorates a motor and DSP (Digital Signal Processor) equipped drive that is integrated seamlessly together as a system. This makes it possible to incoporate many functions compared with a conventional stepping motors and drives, such as sensorless detection of loss of synchronization, smooth control over the whole velocity range, higher torque operation and no vibration at the low speed range.
EZ-Step's on-board high performance digital signal processor and proprietary algorithms allow the Ezi-Step to operate at high speeds with unmatched precision. The unique position estmation algorithm instantaneously dects out of synchronization based on the rotor position of the stepping motor, which is not an easy task in conventional stepping motor drives (effective only over 300rpm).
